Heard in Kilkenny
Generous or free with something comes from the Gaelic word flaithúilach. Situation: A sales man goes into a farm to sell animal feeding equipment and the farmer's dog bites the sales-man on the backside. Upon witnessing the act the farmer says:
I suppose I'll be takin' three so!" To which the salesman responds: "Tanks lad, did anywan ever tell ye dat yer fierce fahulach with yer money!
I suppose I shall take three of them then.
