Heard in Waterford, Dublin, Clare, Kilkenny and Mayo
A small cylindrical marshmallow-type sweet. Also used ironically as a threat of a slap.
Wellboy, ja want a flog do ye! ( which would inevitably end up as a 'right slap' and no sweets )
Well my boy, would you care for one of those confections? Which would inevitably conclude with a sound slap and no confectionery whatsoever.
