Red Square
Featured in The Déise Dictionary
A large open area in Waterford's city centre where George's Street and Barron Strand Street meet with Broad Street. It is now called John Roberts Square and has a polished, black marble, obelisk-style monument at its centre in memorial of his many famous and impressive erections. It was called Red Square due to red brick cobbling that was there before the white granite that is there today.
Dayer was a men's clothes shop in Red Square called Mr Hipps. Dey wanted tew open a second branch across de street but de corporation (now de council) turned dem down because dey thought it'd make an arse outta the place.

Greetings, fellow explorer of the dictionary. Would you like me to translate 'Red Square' in use for you?
