Slang Licence
The Irish Slang Theory Test. 20 questions, pass mark 17. Mirror, signal, manoeuvre.
A bit of craic from slang.ie. Not a real licence, so don't go showing it to a Garda.
Next Slang Licence test in a while

How to play
Think you could pass the theory test for Irish slang? Twenty questions a day, the same twenty for everyone. Get 17 or more right and you're a fully licensed speaker.
- What does it mean? Pick the right meaning.
- Where would you hear it? Pick the county it comes from.
- Posh English: Lawrence Muck has translated something. Pick the slang he started from.
- Fill in the blank: finish the real example.
Pass and you get a Full Irish Slang Licence with your name and county on it. Fail and it's back on the L plates. Either way you can save the card as a picture and share it.
There's a new test for everyone at midnight, Irish time.
Nothing is saved about you. Your name, today's test and your stats only last while this tab is open, and none of it is sent anywhere. This is a bit of craic, not a real licence or test.
