Think you could pass the theory test for Cork slang? Twenty questions a day, Cork words only, the same twenty for everyone. Get 17 or more right and you're a fully licensed speaker.

There's no time limit, but quick answers earn more. Every right answer is worth 50 points, plus a speed bonus of up to 50 more: the full bonus if you answer within about 3 seconds, falling away to nothing at 20 seconds. Wrong answers score nothing. The clock pauses if you switch tabs.

Pass and you get a Full Cork Slang Licence with your name, county, points and (if you like) your photo on it. Fail and it's a Preliminary Licence, L plates and all. Either way you can save the card as a picture and share it.

There's a new test for everyone at midnight, Irish time. Pick another test up top: the All Ireland one, or your own county.

Nothing is saved about you. Your name and photo only draw the card and are forgotten when you leave or reload the page. Today's test and your stats only last while this tab is open, and none of it is sent anywhere. The one exception: if you tap “Feck off, I'm right” after a wrong answer, that question, your pick and anything you write go to us anonymously so we can fix the entry. This is a bit of craic, not a real licence or test.
