Full as a shuck
Heard in Cavan
Inebriated to the point of idiotic / delusional / dangerous behaviour often resulting in headaches, sickness, amnesia, and / or waking up in a cell.
"Awk shor I'm still full as a shuck the day 'cos of de fayde I had last night!" Note: Shuck (sheugh) means a ditch or drain and can also mean the crevice of one's arse.
Dear me, I remain thoroughly legless today on account of the uproarious revelry I engaged in last evening.
